Mission – Vision


To become an institution for training individuals who are equipped with expertise, skills and attitudes required to be a successful physician; conducting scientific research in order to meet the needs of the society in compliannce with universal knowledge; raising scientists; providing qualified medical services.


To increase the satisfaction  of students, staff, researchers, lecturers, and all stake holders  within the next five years. Furthermore within the next ten years to become the most preferred medical school providing English language education and center of preference.


The aim is to provide a program where;

  • Course credit, diploma equivalents, course programs and contents are compatibile with international standards;
  • Evaluation systems are continously monitored and improved;
  • A student-centered education is provided;
  • Students adopt ethical values in compliance with national and international standards;
  • Student council, and student clubs contributes to personal progress;
  • Teaching staff provide effetive counseling system in good communication.

To establish a program where the graduates

  • are provided with knowledge and attitude in the field of preventive medicine, community health practices, diagnostic and therapeutic medical  practice and specialty training;
  • adopt ethical values and human rights;
  • are provided with communication skills;
  • know how to reach, analyze and use scientific knowledge;
  • know how to manage and lead team work in health service.
  • Knowledge of the normal structure, function of the human body, alterations in structure and function of the body.
  • Knowledge of the pathophysiology of the body, appropriate laboratory techniques identifying diseases and health problems.
  • Knowledge of use and effects of drugs
  • Ability to perform a satisfactory physical exam, take a proper medical history, utilize data to identify health problems, formulate an appropriate differential diagnosis and effective management plans (diagnostic, treatment and prevention strategies)..
  • Ability to immediately recognize patients with life threatening conditions.
  • Ability to relieve pain and ameliorate the suffering of patients.
  • Ability to apply evidence based medicine principles to clinical decision making
  • Ability to use medical technology.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective physician-patient communication and interaction skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with peers and members of the health care team in the care of patients and their families.
  • Ability to apply humanistic values in the delivery of health care.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other health care workers in the delivery of health care.
  • Ability to respect the patients’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in the delivery of health care.
  • Ability to effectively interact with patients, peers and other health care workers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
